In our Facebook age, an interesting study-ism: "Networks affect the spread of ideas and innovation, and there is a study suggesting that an individual's happiness depends on the happiness of others in his or her social network." WSJ, Tuesday, Jan. 27, Philip Shishkin.

!You don't say! I couldn't easily find the name of the study so I gave up, but another point of the Study is that genes play an important role in how people make friends -- and they studied twins to find the data. Researchers' goals were to "better understand the spread of ideas and diseases in a society." Ew.
